Did favorite singer send you a friend request on Facebook, or is someone impersonating his character? You can now be sure of the subject simply thanks to a new feature of Facebook called: Pages installed Verified Pages.
Pages will fully documented as confirmed Twitter accounts, where a small blue icon will be displayed next to the name on the networking site Facebook. This will also mark next to the names in the list of search results and anywhere else on the site.
Will offer this new service only for a certain group of private accounts of public figures and celebrities with large audience as the stars of cinema, government figures or big brands and some journalists.
Work will begin to provide service starting on Wednesday.
In my opinion this is a very important feature and Smona a lot of incidents of fraud and spreading false rumors.
